Join the Winfield Area Habitat for Humanity for Taco ’Bout Housing on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 10 a.m. at the Winfield Public Library. Guest speaker Katie Killen from Habitat Kansas City will join panelists from local, regional, and state housing organizations for a conv

ersation about the factors behind the housing crisis, current efforts in our community, and opportunities to get involved.

The event is free and open to the public and includes a Q&A, followed by a taco bar catered by El Azteca and an open house at the 2026 Habitat construction site at 520 Gary.
