Rise & Thrive Cowley Saturdays
Rise & Thrive Cowley Saturdays bring local organizations together to make it easier for Cowley County residents to find help, ask questions, and connect directly with people who can provide resources and support.
Events will be held throughout 2026 and 2027 at the Winfield and Ark City public libraries, with sessions focused on employment, education, family support, food, health and wellbeing, housing, affordability, and legal assistance.
First Up: Resource Connection Day
Saturday, October 3, 2026 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Winfield Public Library
Resource Connection Day is a come and go event where you can sit down one on one with representatives from area agencies, ask questions, and learn about resources available to you and your family.
Participating organizations include Angels in the Attic, DCF, Eagle Nest, Helping Hands, Kansas Workforce, Orion, Sheila's Giving Closet, Winfield Food Pantry, Winfield Habitat for Humanity, and Winfield Literacy Collective.
Additional Rise & Thrive Cowley Saturdays are planned throughout the coming year, connecting community members with organizations that can help with education, employment, family needs, health, food, housing, financial concerns, and more.
