Legacy’s “Great Give” August 1-31, 2025, holds an incredible opportunity for Winfield Area Habitat for Humanity. During that time, Legacy Regional Community Foundation will leverage a $100,000 match opportunity to provide $2,380 (and maybe more) to our endowment fund - our long-term savings – thanks to a generous gift from Patterson Family Foundation.
In August, your money does more... one gift has triple the lift…by doing three things!
Your gift supports immediate needs for our organization
Your gift may unlock a match for the our endowment
And, your gift unlocks match dollars for an unrestricted endowment fund at Legacy that will help with community needs in the future
Here’s how it works:
Make a donation to Legacy for the benefit of Winfield Area Habitat for Humanity.
Date: August 1 through August 31, 2025
Place: Legacy, 1216 Main, Winfield or donate online at www.legacyregionalfoundation.org
The Patterson Family Foundation match will be split - 50% of the match will be divided up to a
base rate $2,380 and then proportionally among the eligible participating nonprofit organizations’
endowments at Legacy and 50% of the match will go to Legacy’s unrestricted grant endowment
to help with community needs in the future.
Donations from Donor-Advised Funds are not eligible for the Match.
Donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law and can be divided among multiple
organizations. One receipt will be issued to each individual making a donation.

We are asking for you to dig deep, beyond what you give to our annual campaign. Building our
endowment is critical for our future, but we still face monthly expenses. So we need your ongoing
support. Legacy’s “Great Give” is a unique opportunity to grow our endowment exponentially, so that we can enrich our people and programs for even greater impact, for years to come.
